What liquid?

Hey guys, i'm thinking of going WCing and im looking at getting the xspc rx360 kit and replacing the tubing with white tubes.

I'm just wandering what the best liquid to use is, I'm a WCing noob. And because its in a white tube i don't mind if it's clear or coloured.

Thanks in advance!

Best performance liquids are Ultra pure water or Di water. Add a little biocide in and your sorted.

Then you have pre-mixed liquids or nano fluids how ever since you have white tubing the above options is better for you.

Ultra Pure H20 is the cleanest liquid you can get for you loop, how ever its depends on how clean you loop is to start off with.

yeah, make sure you flush your loop. I used some distilled water from the grocery store. ran a few gallons through it. dont want any little paint chips, dust or whatever might get in there to clog up a block.

Yes that will work, make sure that you have the blocks before the radiator when flushing so it does not get anything in there and clog it up.

Thanks guys, I will be getting the kit ASAP, Also do you think that the block that comes with the XSPC RX360 kit will fit on socket x79 when it come's out?

I think socket2011 is physically compatible with LGA1366. So yeah, it will work.

The cpu is physicaly going to be bigger just due to the amount of pins on it (2011 vs 1366/1155), 15% +/- a few% id say.

Like the pic below probably except the 775 chip on the right would be the 1366 and the 1366 chip on the left would be the 2011

Also the boards that have been announced so far have a plate over the mounting holes, looks kinda like ALL coolers will have to screw into that some how unless its like that just on the display models and the retail versions will be back to the plain old holes in the PCB.

As for needing a new cpu block you will most likely be able to pick up a 2011 plate for your block when the socket is released, mabey by the makers of your block but most likely by a 3rd party, theres a site that makes them for quite a few of the popular blocks and they run in the £8-10 range if i remember rightly, Cant remember what site it is but im sure mayhem will know as im pretty sure he brought a 1366 one for one of his blocks recently.
