What laptop?

i'm looking for a laptop between £400-£500, i'd like it to have dedicated graphics but if I have to I can do without.

I've looked at a few already on laptopsdirect.co.uk and seen these

Samsung R509-H500UK

ASUS X58LE-EX129C

Lenovo N500

Just not too sure, any help on a decent laptop for my budget?

I recommend a HP Compaq NC2400. They have a 12" 1280x800 screen and a dvd rom built in (a rare luxury on ultraporatbles) Dual core 1.2ghz, 1gb ram, 60gb hard drive. You might be thinking "thats kinda a crap spec,that will be slower than a snail on sedatives"

well thats what i thought, mine is as quick to boot up as my main rig! almost 4 hours battery life too! The only thing it wont do is game, sadly :/

best part though is the price. £170 on ebay - theres loads for sale.

The specs are the same as the dell apart from the ATI grx but its like £100 cheaper
