what do you want from an APU

I choose performant rig(out of two i selected) because in the long run if you're soley gaming them multi-plat games ported from console to PC will run better on it creating a beast gaming rig with little cost. We'll see in the future.

hi, please answer the pool here

Boy, I do love pools!

On a more serious note:

I couldn't even answer the first question cause all the answers are about gaming rigs. I think APU systems are nice for home theatre stuff, or everyday usage with the occassional game.

Even if it was gaming related, I'd say "They're nice for people that want a rig they can do light gaming on first when they buy their rig, then save up and put a proper GPU in it at a later date".

for home theater stuff there is AMD E and Intel Atoms
they have a gfx circuit made for video decoding
while APUs like AMD A are really aiming for games

emmm,no gaming.so HTPC. gaming on hd 7660D ? new games like what 25 fps on low? no thank you.
if there is room in the case, get a dedicated gpu. and a better cpu than the weak athlon x4 750K.

depends of the game
every new games aren't extremly demending, for example GRiD 2 run really smooth and still look fine on intel HD chipset
