I have the X2O kit from XSPC to get into water cooling is this any good?

Also need help on what else needs cooling on the Evga 790i ultra board,ie NBridge ect. as clip to hold fan on snapped off.

New case Cosmos S, 240 rad. Q9550 proc. any info is well appreciated.

Tbh matey that kit is going to stuggle with your cpu anyways so dont add anything else.

My advise would be to get the money together for a custom system with hand picked parts, this will cost a fair bit though but the performance difference is huge.

Thanks TTL for your honesty, so now I'll have to do some research into which parts to get for the mobo and the 2 bfg8800gts i have to put in.

All ideas welcome.

Thanks for the info Tom, I have now put that kit into this rig just cooling the cpu with 2 push & 2 pull fans keeping temps at 40C but not oc'd yet.:worship:

As anyone moded the Cosmos S yet and is it worth painting with parts being plastic.

I've not done anything drastic to mine, but it does look great with a sexy black powdercoat inside. Also, if you can, cool that hot beast of a nb (not with the x2o thing tho)

hi Diablo, its the Q9550 that is going into the S case on a EVGA 790i ultra board thats why i need some pointers into what to get for that board. Was thinking with the Green/black of the board to do a deep purple to make it stand out.

I'm probably not the best person to speak to about this. I had my cosmos s powdered on the inside black, which would go well with the evga colours. I'm not an expert on paints, so you probably want to speak to ttl for advice on this

Powder internals is £50 dude, and paint starts at £200 for externals.

World is your oyster though, anycolour and finish worldwide can be done :D

Or give me some guidelines and Ill pick out the best colour for you ;)
