The bigger the better in my book Slower RPM's make for quieter fans that move more air... i win!

NO its frikken doesn't!!!!!

120mm fans can shift a LOT more air than 80mm fans - at much LOWER speeds.

A high output fan is dependant on a lot of different factors...please don't make sweeping statments.

Anything less than a 110cfm fan on the xp-120, and the xp-90c whoops it according to that madshrimps article you posted a while back.

photoshop files can be used with fireworks...but unless PV used "maximise compatibility" then it wont work very well in my experience.

I'm a noob here so excuse my ignorance.

When you're talking about a 220cfm fan is that down to a greater size or speed than a 190 cfm fan?

If it's bigger it could just be clocked to go slower and it would be quieter for the same airflow than the smaller fan wouldn't it?

Or is it just a screaming turbo monster with an air chewing blade pitch?

fans are designed in many ways. a slower quieter fan can shift more auir than a "screaming turbo monster". you need to look at the cfm rating and the db rating and find a good match between the 2.
