This,If you could I'd spring for the 660Ti. It's better to get something a little better now then regret it later.
Don't be silly Grassman, the i3 is a very good cpu, any gpu will be fine with it

Borderlands 2 Physx kills the CPU on a i5 2500k at stock just imagine what it would do with a i3 since theres no extra cores to become dedicated to physx?
the i3 is hyperthreaded, it will deal with it fine
Good conclusion in theory until you realize your logical cores and virtual cores are running at 1.5ghz.. Dual cores and AMD CPU's need all the extra processing power they can get for different reasons obviously. Also why even risk it? I'm on a i5 2500k and CPU physx in some games drops my fps from 60fps to a measily 20-30..
That doesnt seem right, physx should not be that demanding on a cpu, it doesnt require a lot.
The problem is, computer parts are expensive where I live (both 680 and 7970 cost more, than I earn monthly), there isn't much brands choice and the prices doesn't really drop much, also there are no sales, or warehouse clearances at all.Grab a bargain bin gtx570 or 69xx card.
