Sorry if this is not the right section of the forum to post in but i have no ideea what the problem is.
The problem is as follows: I was browsing the internet and the pc restarts suddenly. During the startup weird symbols/distorted writing started to appear like in these pictures :

Then when it's supposed to show the desktop the monitor goes blank, the pc restarts and it begins the same cycle.
What i have observed until now:
Safe-mode works so I have reinstalled windows. I installed the mobo drivers and it was fine until i installed the gpu drivers.Tried installing different gpu drivers but to no avail. My mobo apparenty shows if something's wrong with any of the components so i've watched it right until the windows is supposed to start up and a little red light pops up on the GPU right when the monitor goes blank and the pc restarts.
What do you guys think ? What should i do next ? Is this a gpu problem ?
System specs: Mobo- Asus p8z68-v pro
Cpu- i5-2500k
Gpu- Asus gtx 580 matrix platinum
If any more specs are needed i will provide.
