weird noice from graphics card when folding HELP!!!!!

Hey guys,

I have just started folding today and i'm getting a weird noise from the graphics card. Im running a Asus 5870. when i exit the application, it stops, but when i start it up again, the noise returns. That's the best I can describe it. It is so annoying. How can I make this stop?

Had it with my 4870 card, especially when playing Crysis. Annoying, but it went away after a while for some reason. I still have no answer to why it did it though, but it is normal.

My dad said about it, I assumed he was wrong, as we never agree lol. He said something about frequency across between components or something... I guess I owe him an apology(nooooo).

So that's what it is, i get sometimes when i load up crysis warhead aswell

I used to get coil whine when i had a 460 really annoying. It’s interesting that my 6870's are quieter at max load than my 460. It had a stock cooler btw.
