When I had Windows installed on my regular HDD, my Windows Experience Index rating was a 5.3 due to HDD speeds. EVERY other rating was a 7.9 except my CPU which was at 7.8.

Now, I recently reinstalled windows onto my SSD and now my Windows Experience Index rating changed. Every rating is 7.9 now except CPU which is at 7.5 and Memory which is 7.6!

WHY did they drop so much?!

BEFORE:

Processor - 7.8

Memory (RAM) - 7.9

Graphics - 7.9

Gaming G - 7.9

Primary HDD - 5.3

AFTER:

Processor - 7.5

Memory (RAM) - 7.6

Graphics - 7.9

Gaming G - 7.9

Primary HDD - 7.9

cause wei is bogus and wont let anything get 7.9 for full score lol I saw similar when i went ssd

Component Details Subscore

Base score Processor Intel® Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz 7.8

7.8 Determined by lowest subscore

Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB 7.9

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 7.9

Gaming graphics 4095 MB Total available graphics memory 7.9

Primary hard disk 82GB Free (119GB Total) 7.9

Windows 7 Professional

I'm thinking its as others things become better it degrades the other scores

But my ram is 16Gb Corsair Vengeance... you'd think it would be 7.9.

And I didn't change my CPU at all... not that the WEI matters but I thought I could get it maxed.
