Hello!

I'm pretty fed up with my current hosts (www.valuehost.co.uk). they have more downtime than up. and there support is well...........£%£*&^%.

Just wondered if any of you guys recommend anyone. I have 3 websites to put on the hosting. each with a seperate domain. (they were called sub-servers on my old hosting). none of them use much bandwidth or require a lot of space.

Many thanks!

Might be worth seeing what idnet.net can offer. If not i believe Dav0s know of a couple of good budget ones.

Personally i used to use rockethost.com based in the USA. Quite cheap and very reliable.

Is hypers service still up?

Yes it is but I am not going to reccomend it at the minute as my main goal is to keep our current customers happy. As a month or so ago there was a huge disaster so I am just getting things back steady.

what are the servers you are running, linux or windows based?

I would check out 1and1.com they are really cheap, and being a well known company I would guess that they have some pretty good support and servers.

I absolutely HATE 1&1... I am using them for my Mac Owners Forum and their control panel is a joke, the line speeds pretty much lick donkey balls, and everything takes a long time to execute from the control panel (adding subdomains, etc). The only thing they have going for them is the amount of storage and monthly bandwidth, thats about it.

My fragtek.com domain is hosted with ModHost and I swear by them if you need service you can rely on. They also use CPanel X which r0x0rz mad b0x0rz.

Hmm, dunno about 1&1 service and such so I wont dispute. As far as I can tell though, your mac-owner forum loads pretty quickly.
