Not a bad price considering it has 4TB. Say $200~250/2TB disk and a nice $50 case, that's less "apple compatible" profit than usual.
 
And btw, they aren't anything specific for Macs or anything.

Infact I don't think we have any 4x quad xeon things with eSATA.

But they do color-match the cases somewhat.
 
DiskUtility (comes with Leopard) can sort that out for u.

TimeMachine will work on any separate disk afaik. Believe it'll work on a FAT32 external.

TimeMachine is kind of a recording taken of ur desktop use. It can be set at a timed interval, so if u do something and screw-up, u can use it to kinda roll-back. Or go back in time :)
