Would this be ok as this is the easiest way to route:

Pump-rad-cpu-gpu-pump

There will be a T-line/fillport in there somewhere too.

Also does anyone know whether you are supposed to add additives to fluidXP?

One last thing, what do people think about using a couple of zip ties per barbs opposed to a hoseclamp? It would make my case look nicer :)

The whole point of FluidXP is that you dont add anything to it, algae cant grow in it.

That is a perfectly fine system order.

Zipties are fine to use as long as they are secure enough (which will depend on how much you throw your case around going to LANs etc and how much stress there is on the joint owing to the plumbing of your system)

If you feel happy using zipties then that is ok, as long as you leak test everything for a good while you arent going to cause yourself any major problems by using them.

The loop is fine.

I think jubilee clips look nicer.

Fluid XP is supposed to be not conductive or somet like that isn't it? it also increases your temps, but only by 1C.

Id just buy some decent Racing Xerox, and assemble it correctly.;) hell i can do it so can you.;)

I recommend the use of Racing Zerex, frankly what more can you ask for? (ps: I don't work for them ;))

So I don't have to add any addtives? I was hoping that would be the case as they stain my tubes and make the water horrible colours :p

InertX is that good you could dip your PC in it and it would still work - attach Phils water chiller to it and you're away - fully cooled PC - might want to keep hard disks and other drives above sea level though :D

Before my koolance I used water wetter which was good.

No additives are need for either FluidXP or InertX, that is the whole point of them, algae cant grow in them, and as they arent water they cant be helped by a wetting agent so additives arent needed.

Not as cheap as water though.

Distilled water from halfords- £2.

racing Xerox Cooler- £5.

Decent amount of Fluid X? £40?

I was feeling lazy - couldn't be ****d to go down to halfords :D

Also there is the added protection if you get a leak with fluid XP

it's for rookies Nick.;)

I thought you guys had like phase change coolers, and **** and powerd em with generators and powerstations, and your botherd about a bit of water.;)

Better safe than sorry.. and familiarity breeds contempt. An online friend built a watercooled rig without a leak test coz he knew what he was doing and... A hose was pushed off a barb coz he didnt double-check it. Guess the rest...

Ive read somewhere that the order of components makes very little differnce to the cooling abilities due to the number of cycles/ second the water makes so With mine, I`m prob gonna go for the arrangement thats tidiest, with a couple of exceptions.
