Hey, I was hoping u guys could help me with choosing out the right components for my first watercooling setup :)

My pc specs:

Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 3399.97 MHz (400 * 8.5)

Asus P5Q DELUXE

Radeon HD 4870

4096 MB DDR2 Dual Channel

I was thinking about buying these parts for the setup:

Arctic Cooling MX-3

CPU waterblock : EK-Supreme LT - Acetal (775/1156/1366)

EK-Backplate CPU LGA 775

Pump : Laing D5-MCP655 12V 1/2"

Fans : 3 x Yate Loon 120MM D12SL-12 Clear+Blue LED 1350RPM

Radiator : Black Ice GT Xtreme 360 Black

Tubes & fittings : 4 x Tube clamps 12MM - 20MM (7/16 - 1/2) RVS Zilver

2 x 13MM (1/2) Bitspower Screwfitting - G1/4 (2 parts) Black Sparkle

2m Feser Tube UV - HighFlow - 1/2 ID - 3/4 OD - BLUE

Reservoir: DangerDen 5.25 Single Bay

When I'll have some more morey and can afford a new gpu i'll be adding it to the loop with a waterblock thats why i've gone for the 360 radiator and i'm hoping to get some more out of my current oc from the cpu

Is it going to be good enough and will the tubes and fittings and clamps fit together?

Thanks in advance :)

alot of people dont like bay res as they can make the loop look untidy.

and maybe the EK HF block instead

Its just to do with the hose dude. In many peoples eyes, me including lots of hose or massive long loops looks messy. You want everything to be as tidy and clean as possible.

Hunt a rig out I made called White Star and youll see what tidy is.

Yeah, it's one of the rigs that made me want to get some wc myself ;)

Probably a stupid questuin but is there another way to fill a loop without a res or t-line with fillport?

Yeah, I prefer the laing DDC Ultras, they are a bit cheaper, smaller and you can mount a res on top of them, which tidies up the loop. Otherwise a pretty solid build. I don't know whether you really need a triple res, but I'll leave that open for others. Fan wise, have a look at noctuas or Gentle Typhoons, which are a bit quiter than the Yates. The yates are alright but nothing to write home about.
