Water newb!

Hi guys

I am considering selling my new Phantom 570 plus my Gigabyte 460 for £400+ and buying 2 480's for sli - some great prices for 480's at the moment, ive seen more expensive 560's

. Which would only seems to make sense if i could put them under water - i hate excessive noise.

Also going to be getting 2600k/P67/1000wPSU upgrade too - and modding my H50 for CPU cooling

The thing that makes it difficult is that i'm using a P180 Mini which is a small case, only capable of holding a 240 rad after modding.

Would a 240 rad with 4 fans in push/pull be enough to cool 2 480's??? Bot looking for exceptional temps. Idle @ around 35c and loading @ around 60/65c, for example, would be considered acceptable, low noise is the big priority.

Am considering using EK-480 Blocks + Resvoir/Pump combo - trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Currently just brain-storming so there is no rush, but would like to think i could put together a nice enough dual-gpu water-cooled rig without having to sell my case and go regular atx.

TIA

I dont really think it would be enough for 2 480's, also i dont think the H50 would be up to doing through 2 GPU blocks and itself

So it's not possible then. What sort of temps could i expect if i tried it?

And the H50 would be in a seperate closed loop!

Radiator would go in the front like this (possible after a bit of drilling)

Not my rig btw!

I would use the 240 rad in the front(intake), the H50 would go on the back (exhaust). Pump/Resevoir would go infront of the 240 rad providing there is enough room, i'm sure i could fit it somewhere!

Have been looking at the Swiftech 240 radiator with an in-built resevoir - which might make things easier when choosing a pump and setting up the loop??? Also been looking at using Pump/Resevior combo and generic 240mm mid-thicknees rad.
