i disagree.
Tke me for example, i have a £2,300 rig (Nasa-rig)
My wife plays on a hunk of junk because we could only afford to get one system good enough for future proof gaming. Had to sell most of hers to afford it.
I worked hard, got paid, paid bills, saved up and have every right to enter a competition regardless of what i have and haven't got.
In fact, i won a be quiet! case 2 days ago, The wife is now upgrading from a neos to an 800 silent base.
As someone else has pointed out, you don't know why someone is entering a competition. They could have a £10,000 system, and if they won give the prize to a friend or family member.
I didn't mean to be arrogant or something. I also got a job for some month during summer time and i earned 600 € (for 2 month of working btw), then i had to safe other 50 € for buying the components i have now. I understand the facts that maybe people enter competitions for giving away to friends or parents. I want to do the same too, if i'm going to win a rig, i want to gift mine to my girlfriend because she has a old laptop and she can't play a sh*t, and then i keep this for me. But i'm unlucky as f**k and for sure i'm not going to win. And i wasn't talking for your case, i'm talking about people who's collecting NASA-rig. "Oh i have already 32 pc, what about winning another one?" Trust me, there are people like this (like a lot of youtubers). And they reduce our chance of winning.

Its a competition open to all except those stated in the rules .
And hey it would be nice to win but its fun to take part too :)

What if Venus was hit by a massive asteroid and obliterated? Would that be the end of the comp and the end of all women?

Question time. Have any of you living in a cool climate ever used your PC as a heat source on a cool morning? You know, run a game that you know runs the PC a little warm so you can warm your hands up from the heat coming from the exhaust?

While not for the sole purpose of warming up, I have done this before lol. I've been playing a game on a cool day and had my hands get cool, then just poke them behind the PC for a quick moment to warm them up lol.

I have actually used my PC to heat my room up nicely before bed. My old house the heat sucked so playing a gpu intensive game before bed helped raise the ambient temp in my room my 10-15 degrees sometimes.

10-15°C? Is your room 6m^2?

Used to do the same. After a certain time vents became noisy even after a big cleanup, so mysteriously the PC flew into another corner. Those bad mornings ...

My old laptop used to do the same when gaming, even with a small fan inside it could kick out an immense amount of heat, enough that you couldn't rest your hand near the vent without burning your hand.

Back in 2011 I actually lived in a rented room that was 3 meters long and 2 meters wide. I had a Phenom II X4 970 BE, and two XFX HD6870's and by god did it get hot in my room.

This beauty heated up the room so much that even in winter, I didn't need to turn on the radiator in my room. Hell, some days I had to open the window.

Heyyo,

Wall mountable is cool... but 2016? Ceiling hung systems will be the new trend tbh.
