Well partly agree. Me personally would only ever enter something that I want to have because I don't already own it. Other than that you can't shit on ppl who have "evereything" already either. Because unless they belong to some sort of rich family and got everything pushed in their buttholes they most likely earned it by working hard. So in my eyes everyone who enters and wins deserves it.

I understand the heart warming picture of the winning poor guy all happy simling and in tears is somewhat satisfying so everyones anger because of their own loss isn't burning so bad. But that poor guy could aswell be just a lazy ass kid playing games all day and living in mommy's house. Just wanted to put this though train out there.

Now what you wanna do is be working hard AND living in mommy's house to get the best from both worlds :D cheers
 
Anyway that's the last i shall say on the mater cause i don't want to go back and forth for page after page going round in circles, i've got some F1 free practice sessions to watch.
 
I must say I personally don't have a problem with competitions like this. I can say since entering probably 4 or 5 now in this community, from OC3D that I wish all comps were run as smoothly and in form, esp in the art community.
 
I won 3rd place in the OC3D Snow White Comp a few years ago, and I never got any hate from anybody.
We are a family.

Lightning never strikes in the same place twice, but I entered anyway. I even shared the comp over all my social media circles and told all my friends outside that circle about this comp. Many of them entered.

I hope OC3D Towers make a bundle from this.

i disagree.
Tke me for example, i have a £2,300 rig (Nasa-rig)
My wife plays on a hunk of junk because we could only afford to get one system good enough for future proof gaming. Had to sell most of hers to afford it.
I worked hard, got paid, paid bills, saved up and have every right to enter a competition regardless of what i have and haven't got.
In fact, i won a be quiet! case 2 days ago, The wife is now upgrading from a neos to an 800 silent base.
As someone else has pointed out, you don't know why someone is entering a competition. They could have a £10,000 system, and if they won give the prize to a friend or family member.
 
i mostly dont enter the comps because honestly i dont need something, but i entered this one. and i dont need it either my current rig keeps me plenty happy. i 1080p game.
But i would like it. id find a reason to have it lol. Possibly give it to the wife but then again it would be better than my pc then so thats not right.
But she cant have my pc i put a lot of work in to that lol.. so now that im thinking about it Its best that i don't win :)

really wish i hadnt started this reply now as it has left me hoping i dont win lmao.

Drat, if only he'd of picked one of the four giant planets, either gas or ice, for the days. Since they all have shorter days than Earth...

Now Venus actually has two days a year, even though its day is longer than its year. Since its orbit around the sun lets it pick up a day.
