My Aunt sue, enters competitions for a living, she started about 5/6 years ago, she has finished paying her mortgage, in cash wins, 3 holidays, 1 was an all inclusive 2 week stay in the Bahamas for 4, a Mini Cooper, and god knows how many shop gift vouchers. I'd say at least twice a month she has a win of some sort.

Aye I witnessed a gtx 980 win last month, winner was an elderly lady from Bournemouth her facebook wall was just competitions. The hate was apparent from the posts that followed the close :lol:
It annoys me when I think about some poor sod who genuinely entered because they honestly want or need it, but on the other hand its all open to the public so fair is fair.

I've entered a lot of competitions, but I've skipped a lot that I'm not interested in or don't know anybody who would be interested. Like, I have a friend who's getting into mountain biking. If I ever see a mountain biking competition, despite having no interest myself, I'd enter. If I'd won, I'd give the bike to him.

I've entered on competitions on stuff I've had no interest in before knowing someone in my family, or friends would have interest in it. I never win anything though so I never tell them. No sense in getting their hopes up unless I get a "winner, winner, chicken dinner" message sometime lol.

Theirs always hate and jealousy when it comes to stuff like competitions, especially with rigs cause some people think that others don't deserve to win it if they're not going to 'push it to it's limits' so to speak, some people will get angry if they find out that the winner is just gonna play something like The Sims on it which they have every right to it's their rig at the end of the day.
Like with most competitions (this one included) Tom doesn't have a clause to say 'if you enter and win then you must only use this to play games that max everything out' etc etc cause that's just stupid, no one person can dictate what the winner of anything should do with what they won it's down to the winner and the winner only, or even if they deserve to win it. I remember one rig competition might have been a couple of years back, some people were saying if you win this then you've got to do folding at home otherwise it's a waste of a rig if you win it and don't do it! I mean if you're the winner of anything then you've got to be like screw you! i'll do whatever i damn well please with it you've got no right in hell to tell me what i should and should not do with it, i won you didn't, go sulk somewhere else.

No problem bro, you can do what the hell you want with your winning. At least, it would be great if someone in need is going to win. I see a lot of things winned by people that have already everything, and this can make a lot of people sad, like me. I prefer not to win but i would like to see someone who's in need winning, instead of people who have everything already. Ok, nobody choose who's the winner, but people who own NASA-rig already, should not enter competitions like this one.

That's just the luck of the draw, some people are more lucky than others it's just a fact of life unfortunately and theirs nothing you can do about it, sob stories don't work either.
Anyone can enter any competition no matter what they own, so saying that someone should't enter if they have as you put it a "NASA rig" is just flat out wrong, you don't know why this person is entering to win, it could be for themselves, it could be to give to their little brother, sister, dad or even a friend that's recently had his or her's stolen.
