vista connection problems

hi, on my home comp i recently tried to put new memory on but it ddnt work so i removed it, bu now when i try to conect to to net the webpage takesag to only load to nothing, it also says intermitent on network connections, i dont know what wentwrong oor how to sort it, any ideas plz.
