Variable SLI waterblock connector spacing ?

I'm a bit confused.

My sli cards sit in slots 1 and 4, with two pcie x1 slots inbetween.
Which connector do i get ? 3 slot or 2 slot one ? 4 slot (do those exist even)?

Mate this also confused the crap out of me too. I think you want a 3 slot.

I just bought two bitspower crystal link adapters or w/e they're called and bought a set of 2 and 3 slot spacing crystal link tubes for it to be sure lmao.

iirc you will need a 3 slot connector.

When counting, you start from the pcie slot under your first gpu (thats 1) , then count until you reach your second card.
