We feel we could let an iPhone pass through under the radar but this is just to far.

As for the swearing thing, people should take a look at the Official Assetto Corsa forums, you can't swear at all it auto sensors, they have the "Thread Police" too who monitor new posts and threads for hostility and inappropriate material (all volunteers).

I'm good with this and I think onwards and upwards really. We will adapt and continue to be the great community that has me visiting daily. I do agree with JR though in that it would be nice to see a bit more hype again surround the amazing builds and talented guys we have here

Tom's latest videos don't have any F bombs in them.
A few forums I use have a infraction system in place and to be honest it works really well on them for things such as swearing but, they also use it for providing warnings over abusive comments towards people and openly posting something that is against the rules such as console modding, or hacked tv boxes etc.
It takes a bit of time for people to realise what is acceptable and what is not, but it's just about using common sense really, by not only the posters but the Mods as well imho.
Honestly I welcome these changes as it will make people think about what they are typing and saying before posting it.
