UPS, leaving packages in the rain?!

So yeah i bought a nice Apevia X-master with psu for 28 bucks after rebate. Since i'm in the mix of building a new system. Well since most cases are shipped in their own manufacturing board newegg shipped it out. Well it turns out today it poured outside, UPS tried putting it in a plastic bag but well the funny thing about the rain is it sometimes is accompanied by WIND lol. So the bag was on one side of my yard and a soaking package was on the porch. Of course, they will not have stock in time so I can send in the rebate so newegg was nice enough to refund everything with free shipping back for UPS's error. But man I was hoping to put my old parts in it for a HTPC.

So UPS just leaves it outside the door for everybody to pick it up and take it with them

It depends if the sender asked for a signature on delivery. If no signature is required they can leave it on your doorstep. It really is up to the driver though. My UPS guy delivers quite a bit to my office so if he sees a package for my house he will usually drop it off at my workplace instead.

Ahhhh UPS. Throw a $300 Injen cold air intake onto the drive and then reverse over it, crushing it

4 months it took me to get a payout.
