Upgrading from 6850

my friend had a 1000 watt ocz psu which probably was never pushed over 600 watts and it died after 2 months, it might just have been bad luck but as i said a lot of people on this forum have had bad experiences with ocz.
 
Took the PSU's case off and it looks to be a true 4 rail PSU... Unless I can put 3 of the 12v rails onto the 7870's two connectors I'm going to return it. :(

IDK why I listened to the sales person. He didn't even know what micro-stuttering is...

Hope I'm wrong though.
 
If you've opened up the psu it normally voids the warranty so idk whether youll be able to return it. Then again it may be different in the us
 
Just did furmax burn in test with 7870 OCed to 1150/5000 with intel burn test running at same time and no problems. I did notice that when furmax is running I get lower GFlops on intel burn test. This PSU seems to be doing okay.
