Upgrades after an SSD?

RadeonHDx

I'm finally back after my 2 months break from the forum due to school and holidays but I'm back with abit of money to spend as my birthday is coming up and I have been building a few very very low budget builds for people and charging around £20 a pop.
But anyway my question is what do I upgrade after I get a SSD? I'm not sure how fast or big the SSD I'm getting is as my dads friend is getting one for me from his work.
Any suggestions are welcome and updates of my case mod are coming soon.

hmm, most of your system is quite good already.

you may benefit from a newer cpu, it depends exactly how much money we are talking, and what you mainly use your rig for.

What cooling and case are you running with just now? Wouldn't say your CPU, GPU or PSU are all that bad and I'm firmly in the camp of replacing CPU and MB together. Might be a good time to upgrade the case and cooling with a mind on any future plans.

I mostly use my rig for gaming and I still have the InWin Dragon Rider case but I'm not getting a new case cos I've already spent money on a window and lights etc but I deffo need a new cooler scene as my Titan cooler currently has paper clips holding a pair of AP121's on, it functions well but when I do the cooling I wanted to do a decent watercooling loop with a 360 rad in the roof with the modded new roof panel that I have had made. Thanks for cutting down my options tho.
Btw I also believe in the notion that new CPU new board, I'm waiting for the 'next' 8350 that isn't £500 as I do some cad work for my dad and the extra cores would really help.

it is unknown as of yet if/when steamroller will be released in non-apu form.

atm the best upgrade for you would be a cpu cooler going by what you said, if you wanted a new cpu to tide you over you could sell your 4170 and buy a 6300 or 6350.

i have a mate in my course who runs a stock 6300 and it runs great for solidworks and other cad programs.

Yea that's what my friend just ordered for the build I'm making him, his rig is £500 and it is better than my rig that I got for £650! Anyway I think I will go for the upgrade to one of the FX 63XX series just to get rid of the micro stutter that I'm getting in alot of games.

As for steamroller release date it is ment to be sometime in early 2014 but scene as it's AMD I won't be expecting it for at least another year.

As for cooling I will be keeping a close eye on specialtech to see if there are any deals on blocks or rads. Thanks again!
