Hello chaps of OC3D!
My cheaply put together bit by bit rig is in need of an upgrade. Currently running :
A10 5800K
8GB Ram
Gigabyte D3H Mobo
1 x 1TB HDD, 1 x 500GB HDD, 1 x 128GB SSD
MSI R9 280X
450W PSU
I know the PSU is underpowered, massively for what I am running, to such an extent I recently put all my files from the 500GB HDD onto the 1TB one, and disconnected the 500GB HDD.
I am stuck between going for an 8350FX and compatible motherboard, and a 4670K and the MSI G43 or the G45 motherboard. I have a 550W Superflower PSU on it's way so that will provide adequate power for the components.
So, my question is, for someone who will predominately play games, the 4670K or the 8350? The 8320 looks rather attractive too at its circa £120 price point.
I am mainly playing War Thunder (which runs fine on what I had before, and now) and Rome 2 (I shall kill the bugs like I shall kill the barbarians!)
Any advice oh knowledgeable ones?
