Unconfirmed: G92 GeForce 9800 GTX specs

It takes about 1min for me to post this, then add the forum link to the news, set that to live and add the link...

You beat me to it... Peev's - is there a quicker way?

Anyway, this card could be a brute!

I just enable the news post. Post the thread with a link in it, then go back and edit the news post with a link to the thread.

I might wait till Nov and then the 8800's will drop in price and get an 8800. Cant afford to spend £300 on a graphics card!

w/e, i needed an upgrade with this 22" wide.

i dont mind :)

can never have the best of anything for more than 2 weeks! lol

Yea seriously, thats why i have been waiting. Second gen always pwns hardcore.

Then 6 months later it will get pwned hard and then what will you do? By waiting, you weren't necessarily wiser than people who upgraded, you just had less of a need for the card when the 1st gen was out.

Yea, but it seems that the current DX10 games are raiping the current first gen DX10 cards. The second gen is always WAY better than the first, and in term by waiting im not just "jumping on the bandwagon". Not only that, but look at what the paper performance difference is. Even if these arent confirmed im sure these people arent pulling specs outa there butt. Nor is it the inq. And its going to be longer than 6 months between the 8800 and 9800. I think video card tech might be slowing a bit down. I did the same with DX9 cards, and won with waiting for second gen cards. I always skip like that, seems to work performance wise.

On the note of getting pwned in current DX10 titles, there are none. Until we get a game that was made from scratch with DX10 and current 8xxx/2xxx series GPUs in mind, we can't gauge how the cards will really perform. A simple DX9-DX10 patch is simply not the same thing.

Disco.

I just spent £290 on an 8800GTS fs lol... Hopefully it should still be pretty good in DX10.. All the crysis videos and stuff were shown using current hardware.. even some of them are DX9... i better get saving then :) i want quad core by then end of the year then ill think about a new GFX card.
