Unable to access gmail

I've just got my Haswell rig up and running but I'm not able to access my gmail account, I'm getting the message The servers security certificate is not valid. Any ideas peeps ? I'm getting the same message with the Chrome store, and Google play, so it seems all things google.

what browser are you using? is it up to date??

Check the date and time is set correctly in the BIOS. Having the wrong date and time can cause that prob, happened to me before.

I'm using Chrome and I have just installed it tonight so i hope it is up to date,I have just tried firefox and had the same problem there but I had the option to allow with certificate.

I'll try the Bios now, cheers mate.

Problem solved, it looks like Avast and W8 don't get on, well at least the version I was using didn't. Even Facebook was a problem, all I got was a page load of writing with logo symbols, back to AVG, or SE

Stick to SE, I've never had a problem with it. I used Kaspersky for a while, which was also trouble free.
