Yes that's right guys, YOU can now take part in what appears in the news section of OC3D's homepage and get paid for it at the same time!

Providing you have a minimum of 200 posts and are a registered member of OC3D forums (duh), visiting the link below will present you with a word-like editor for creating your own news.

NEWS SUBMISSION PAGE

For every article that we deem suitable for posting we will pay you £1 (Payments made monthly. Minimum pay-out of £10) with the system will keep a running total of how much money you have earned.

To ensure that your news posts are accepted, follow these basic rules:

  • Credit your sources - including any links to the original content.
  • Pictures! We need pictures!
  • Make it easy to read. Check spelling, grammar and ensure the text 'flows'!
  • Keep to a similar layout of other OC3D news articles.
  • Make sure it's of interest to OC3D readers, is current news and hasn't already been posted.

At the moment this is only a trial run, continuation of this project depends on your involvement.

this sounds quality, people getting paid for the effort they put in, bit annoying if you get only 9quid tho;P

Hehe, all the more incentive to do at least 10 articles :)

Now there's an offer you guys and gals cant refuse in todays economic climate!

In my day we used to have to get out door work to earn some pocket money, here you can do it from the comfort of your house and sat down.

You could try but they'd probably end being rejected for either not well written or being recognised :p

Might do this in spare time, althought that has been becoming less fairly rapidly recently.

If you have say 8 quid in the first month and another 5 in the second you get 13 at the end of the second month, right?

EDIT: any specific format it needs to be in?

i got a question, is it a roll on thing so if you post say 5 in august and then 5 in september would u get payed for the full 10 at the end?

Yep, funds are (or will be) rolled over.

As for format - not quite sure what you mean? We basically need them to be in a similar layout to those already on the site.

I mean do you need to use bbcode, html, other markup languages if they even exist?

And ha beat you to it ToeJam :D

Its all based on HTML but the editor deals with that. All you need to do is press the bold button when you want bold...etc :)

Ah yes I see now :)

Better start visiting some news sites.

<edit>Uh, where to put the link to the source page?</edit>

Posted mine.

Hoping it works as I'm usualy not bothered to type up large articles and documents unless there is a benefit.

:p

does this include reviews? or just news?

Just news at the moment and as I say it's just a trial. We'll give it a month or two and see how it works out. If it becomes popular we may make it an integral part of the new OC3D website which will be much more user involved. But I've already said too much :p
