Well after talking to Phil this morning it seems i have a big prob with my Mach2 GT :(

It seems i have a hole/leak on it somewhere cos it either takes ages to boot or i get the error message "TO SLOW" come up on the LCD..

Damit Damit Damit !!!

From what Phil says Marci isnt fixing these probs anymore so i dunno wtf im gonna do..

Just got a reply from Marci:

At the moment our repairs service has been suspended for the foreseeable future due to a failed vacpump that we can't afford to repair or replace.... sorry!

Have you checked the condenser for dust etc? Made sure all fans are spinning correctly?

Altho it takes longer to pull down, once it has pulled down does it still run as cold as usual at both idle and load? If idle and load temps haven't changed then there isn't an issue with gas. It could be a faulty sensor, if so, we don't have any replacements and can't get them either... you'd have to contact the place of purchase to get the unit repaired under whatever warranty they offer...

From the sounds of it i have a faulty sensor because my temps are the same as b4..

I was thinking of setting up a lil fund for getting Marci a new vac pump, as I was gagging to get my Baker head fitted when I got me Mach II regassed, but now looks like it aint happening any time soon.

Anyone think the fund would be a good idea? I'm sure there'd be a few people who'd be willing to donate?

yeah i would just to make sure if my GT fails I could have somewhere to repare it..... ;)

i think if my gt fails it will be time to get a vapochill me mate fridays mach 2 has just come down with the same problem

Argh my GT has had it

Just turned it on and it started making these funny noises and kept flashing some "UAF SENSOR ERROR" on the display :(

Now when i switch it on it boots the evap and says its at a temp like 70 C then when it finaly gets to -33 the PC boots and then about 10 secs later the Mach2 GT unit shuts down and gives me either a restart delay or NO SHUTDOWN on the display while the PC is still runnin. GRRRRR !!!!

Damit just as Phil goes away for a week !!!
