Have you ever tried a pair of (proper) headphones, not headsets. something like sennheiser or bose. sound quality is amazing when compared to regular mainstream headsets (like razer, no offence to anyone :)) lets just say that once you try one you wont even consider another headset in your life :P

I agree...so much better than regular headsets. I just use a separate mic. Couldn't be happier.

Here is my setup:

Personally I uses Sennheiser HD 202, some of the cheaper end headphones, and sound way better than any £50+ headset I ever owned. And for the mic I just use the integrated one in the webcam, Its a logitech c203 iirc, quality is decent too.

to tell the truth i do not really want to get a standalone mic if i have to i will use the mics in my Logitech C920 HD Pro Webcam and get some headphones

if this is for gaming, do your fellow gamers a favour and buy a decent mic. Cheaping out and having a crappy one and/or using a webcam one from miles away doesn't make you anyone's favourite...

the mics in the logitech webcams are amongst the best, unless you plan on singing haha :)

or you can try to find something like the mic that comes with a steelseries siberia V1 and hide it somewhere underneath your desk.

Plantronics Gamecom 780. Best headset they make and it kicks the crap out of anything in that price range (and pretty much anything else headset wise). Its got laavly sound and a decent microphone. Its comfy as well. Looks a bit cheap but because of that its really lovely and light.

I have it and the £250 Gamecom Commander. The 780 is arguably better.

Could always give the Sennheiser G4ME ZERO Premiums a try, I've tried them myself and it's like a unicorn is gently making love to your ears while whispering sweet nothings to you *The total reverse of a horse whisperer ^_^ * -

They look pretty cool actually. Do they come with the psycho looking ginger girl that's in one of the pictures?
