Thoughts On Gaming Build

Decided what you're gonna choose as your case yet?

Also I saw your post earlier reegarding what monitor to geet. if you're going for a 1080p set up then I would suggest 23,24inch IPS monitor from a reputable brand, Dell, Iiyama, Benq, LG, etc. However since you're gonna have 2 780s in this rig you'll prob wanna try and get a nice 1440p monitor if you can afford it at 1440p I would suggest around the 27 inch mark.

I've decided im going to go with the 900d, I like the NZXT cases but I prefer the metal body of the 900d and the sort of hidden power switch it has over the 800d. Also its massive so it gives me room inside to be noob on the water cooling lol.

Iv decided on the ASUS PB278Q 2560x1440. There is a dell equivalent that I considered but I forget its name, I preferred the look of the ASUS and in the end that tipped it.

Yeah the 900D is a sexy case. Plus plenty of room to do pretty much anything you want!!

Monitor looks like a good choice too. I look forward to seeing the pics when it finally gets done. Did you say you were going for the Z87 sniper 5 or one of the other boards we suggested? If you get the sniper 5, the silver heat sink on this Ram will match nicely I reckon http://www.corsair.com/us/memory-by...133mhz-c11-memory-kit-cmy16gx3m2a2133c11.html

:) I agree.

Thank you , it did get some good review although apparently the stand and speakers are appalling but that's not to much of an issue for me, I think it looks better than the Dell.

Im going to go with the sniper 5 and keep a black and green colour scheme. That ram looks good and is cheaper than the others iv been looking at.

Could you take a look at the water cooling parts I listed at the end of page 2 please, im not sure whether its correct and tbh im not sure I need 2 rads?

Im excited to get it built I really want to play witcher 2 and crysis at full graphics lol. The 460m isn't anywhere near up to it.

I know little to nothing regarding watercooling so I will leave that to one of the others who are better suited to answer. As for crysis and witcher 2, those dual 780s are going to have no problem whatsoever

No worries, thank you for your help so far.

Awesome, they are very expensive but I want something future proof and I won't be buying any next gen consoles so this will be my only gaming platform.
