Try and pick up a gun man. I knew a company in the USA (harbour freight tools) that did gravity feeds for $15. I sh*t you not. Best of all? they were identical to the ones my brother in law spent $200 a piece on.

I tell you man they were bloody great. I used them on both the Taurus and Tiburon and just threw them away when I was done. They also blew flakes and pearls out perfectly. See if you can find something like that here.

lol only problem with a grav gun im worryed about is i have a tiny ass compressor for one 2 i have a tiny room to paint in litterly think prison cell size

it caps out around 50 psi i think

Hmm. You may just get away with it. TBH for £15 if you can get one it's worth a go. Just be sure to check nozzle sizes. That one I linked to is 1.5mm but the 2mm needs more pressure.

Looks pretty nice, ive been meaning to pick up another airbrush for a while as my old desktop compressor died and some how took the gun with it. If i remember rightly i used about 40-45 psi with a 1.5mm nozzel on a gravity feeder when i tried my hand at spraying a cheap case so yours may work fine but you would only be able to do a pannel at a time mabey.

I got 2L of paint 5L of thinner (smallest they had in the shop at the time) and a few sheets of sand paper and it cost me £16.50, i used under a L for a slightly larger than mid tower case with a 1:1 mix of thinner to paint.

All in all it turned out well, still needing to put some clear coat on it (2 years after spraying) but i dont see the point as i realy hate the color now ive looked at it a bunch (and the case was tat).

And Tom was that the lovely candy apple red with gold pearl underneath that you were doing for Jim in that pic? Possibly one of THE most awesome coats I've EVER seen. Lord knows it must cost a fair whack, though maybe... when I'm rich and famous lol

Its not gold pearl dude, pearl doesnt really work with Candy..... Its just very clever paint

The base on that is a custom mixed silver..... the gold, well thats just a very special secret.

I am here in the States. I regularly shop at HF. I can vouch for their guns. The nozzles and fittings are crap, but you can easily replace those....and then just scrub the internals with some steel wool on a dowel. The machining on the internals is rough, and doesn't give the most consistent airflow, but if you just do a bit of work on them they are quite usable. Yes they really are $15. They have some slightly nicer model for around $60. The $60 models only need a decent nozzle and a better set of fittings, and they can go head to head with a $200-$300 gun.

If anyone is really keen on getting some of these guns, I might be persuaded to take a trip down the street and pick some up.

They also sell very nice moisture traps, and compressor fitting at HF....and some decent CG compressors. CHEAP!!!!
