This or that?

Neither tbh. The res sucks on both, only 16.2m colors on the Acer.. cant find info on that about viewsonic. Overall they're both very low-end. If you can afford more, please buy something better.

Keep in mind. A good 16ms monitor will appear to ghost less than a crappy 8ms monitor. I've seen 12ms monitors look a hell of a lot better than 8ms monitors in game.

Plus, that one has 1600x1200 res and true 16.7m colors. When the response rate goes down, so does the quality of the panel, color wise.

I can't afford that much lol. My price range is not above $250 after shipping and tax to CA if you can find soemthing in that range then thanks very much. Also, don't you think that's a bit harsh judging from the reviews I've read about the Acer it's a pretty good monitor....also other people on the forums have said it was good. I just need to decide weather to get the Viewsonic or the Acer.

Lol, that one is also a hundred more dollars. Out of the two, I like the acer a bit, but either are decent monitors. I'de wait for a few more opinion though.

Ooh, you're in CA? What area? Anyways, personally I would wait the few months until the After-Thanksgiving sale and see if they have any decent pickups at that time. Also, prices are dropping all the time, so by then, you could probably get a very solid monitor for that price.

Fremont :O And see I'm an unpatient guy and likee lol I don't think I will need a new monitor after this one...If it's good for gaming and stuff then am gnna buy it tnight more opinions please!

Why not skimp on an inch and get a much higher quality LCD, such as the Dell Ultrasharp 1907FP 19" Monitor?

Now there's a damn fine idea... Dell monitors are soooo nice.

Hellz yeah. My Dad's had his 1907FP for a few months, not one stuck/dead pixel. Gaming looks great too. (He's a Far Cry & CoD addict.)
