I'm looking to purchase the ThermoChill V2K-Pro pre installed liquid case here with the following blocks and pump:

CPU Block - D-Tek FuZion

Chipset Block - DD Maze4 BadAxe chipset

GPUs - MCW60

Alphacool DDC Ultra pump

What are your opinions on this and the choice of blocks and is the price of £464.63 inc VAT & Shipping a good deal as it doesn't sound bad to me?

Thanks.

Yep looks good from here mate. What ATI gfx card are you running atm? Are you looking at getting a DX10 card in the near future?

I currenty have a X1950XTX to go into this build so I'm not looking to move to dx10 for some time yet. I need to have a think about what PSU I'm going to need as well, I guess 720w at least?

A good beefy PSU is a must in a custom watercooled computer. You need to factor in the extra draw from the pump(s) and extra fans. In my case I had 2 power hungry pumps and 6 additional high power 120mm fans which put a nice load increase on my PSU.

I'd recommend anything above 600w, my TPCP&C TC 510 handled my watercooled rig + 7800GTX SLI, it was a powerhungry beast and the Turbo-Cool really strained and blew hellishly hot air.

I'd check out the Zippy/Emacs supplies or the Silverstone Zeus supplies, those are getting a lot of rep right now.

Thanks for the advise. :)

I quite like the look of the Enermax Infiniti 720w in the review section I assume that's more than up to the job?

Yep should do you proud mate. Its a very good performer and has the looks to boot :p

Looks like I am going to order the Enermax Infiniti 720w from SpecialTech, the price is even better than when this was reviewed now £137.90 :worship:

I have found this a little cheaper else where, but I'd rather buy from a trusted supplier.

I just need a few more posts to qualify for the free delivery. ;)

So back to the question of the ThermoChill V2K-Pro pre installed liquid case, does the price look good for what I'm getting?
