Hi guys! It's been a while I haven't been surfing on those forums and since I uploaded my last build.

This one started from my old AMD rig (FX 8350, 7970Ghz x2), which was my first one. I then decided to change a few things such as the case, until I realized I could properly fit a watercooling loop. A few months later, here I am, part of the watercooling adventure. :beerchug:

It's been quite hard to reproduce the real lighting and colors. In fact in reality it is more purple than seen on those pics. More sober, some pics look like a christmas tree here.

Planned upgrades/maintenance:
- Switching to EK DuraClear tubing (Masterkleer is already loosing some plasticizer after 2 months. Tubes are not transparent anymore)
- Alphacool 14W/mK thermal pads on the Fury X vrms (with the standard 3.5W/mK EK ones, vrm temps reach 70°C compared to 45°C for the gpu core)
- thermal paste replacement for the cpu and gpu (Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut)
- Phobya UV red liquid

This is my first loop, any suggestions are welcome! Hope you enjoy it.;)

Cheers

Very nice. Good to see an all AMD build too :)

In future if you want hose to go dead straight then heat it up with a heat gun. Plastic has a memory, and when you heat it it will return to its original shape :)

Then you can get rid of the cable ties dude.

Thanks guys! Glad you like it :)

That's great, I didn't know about the heating of the tubes. I thought it was for hard tubes only. Since I have a heat gun I'll give it a try next week when I change the tubing ;)

Yeah this motherboard is quite frustrating. Even with those 2 fans blowing directly on the vrm, the motherboard can barely sustain the load at 4.85Ghz with 1.4V only. Cpu core temps are ~50°C and gpu 45°C so there would be some room to push the cpu further :(

Just do it evenly and take your time.

I heated three in mine. Some I wanted curved because I like curves but yeah, you can heat them straight :) you will need something to put in them when you are heating though, as they get hot :D

That looks quite clean indeed, I'll definitely give it a try.

Nice case modding by the way. Also, this gpu looks really small, I'm guessing it's not the Fury in your signature since it has the nvidia logo and less power cables...

That's not the Fury rig no mate. That is here.

In my Xeon rig. The green one has a Geforce 950 in it and a six core Phenom 2. Old parts, but wanted there to be less risk than cooling expensive stuff (was my first real full WC rig).

I've got three in total. One on all AIOs (Titan XM and 5820k, where the Fury X used to be) and a 8 core ES Xeon with a Fury X then the old part rig :)
