Hi guys! It's been a while I haven't been surfing on those forums and since I uploaded my last build.
This one started from my old AMD rig (FX 8350, 7970Ghz x2), which was my first one. I then decided to change a few things such as the case, until I realized I could properly fit a watercooling loop. A few months later, here I am, part of the watercooling adventure. :beerchug:
Specs:
AMD FX 8350 @ 4.85Ghz
AMD Radeon R9 Fury X
M5A99fx PRO
16Gb HyperX @ 1800Mhz cl9
750W XFX Pro Black Edition Semi-modular Silver
Phanteks Enthoo Pro M acrylic
Bitfenix Recon Fan controller
Samsung 840 Evo 128Gb
Crucial MX 100 512Gb
WD Blue 1Tb
4x EK vardar 120mm
2x Be Quiet! Shadow Wings 2 140mm
1x Enermax Appolish 120mm
2x Enermax Tb.Silence 80mm
Bitfenix red cable extensions
Red + UV led strips
WC parts:
EK Predator 240 expanded (DDC 3.1 pump, P240 rad, Supremacy MX block)
EK P240 radiator
EK Acrylic-Copper Fury X waterblock
EK 10/16 nickel fittings
Alphacool Eisflugel flow meter
Mayhem UV red coolant
Masterkleer 16/10 transparent tubing
Various white and red leds in the blocks and flow meter
Peripherals:
BenQ XL2730Z (1440p, 144Hz, Freesync)
Logitech G700s
Logitech G710+ (mechanical, brown switches)
HyperX Cloud II headset
Tobii Eye tracker
Pictures:
It's been quite hard to reproduce the real lighting and colors. In fact in reality it is more purple than seen on those pics. More sober, some pics look like a christmas tree here.
Planned upgrades/maintenance:
- Switching to EK DuraClear tubing (Masterkleer is already loosing some plasticizer after 2 months. Tubes are not transparent anymore)
- Alphacool 14W/mK thermal pads on the Fury X vrms (with the standard 3.5W/mK EK ones, vrm temps reach 70°C compared to 45°C for the gpu core)
- thermal paste replacement for the cpu and gpu (Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut)
- Phobya UV red liquid
This is my first loop, any suggestions are welcome! Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers
