Willie V here to say Hello and show off my handy work. I am an old gamer and my kids are probably older then most here Ha Ha Ha !!! I love building, modding & gaming and see no end insight.

I decided last year to make this rig a tribute to David Bowie and call it BlackStarMan. I had planned to work out this rig in four stages. Stage 1, Install and customize EKWB 360 Predator AIO + Riing light LED fans + 3mm LEDs to waterblock. Stage 2, add 2nd EK QDC and EK-RES X3 250. Stage 3, convert Mobo from P67 i7 2700K Sandybridge to X99 i7 5820K Haswell-E and going from DDR3 2133 to DDR4 3200. Stage 4 add another EK QDC to (2) EK-FC Titan X - Nickel CSQ water blocks + EK-FC Bridge DUAL Serial CSQ Plexi.

Well Stage 4 ended up not happening. I got a great deal on (3) EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classifieds. In doing this, I switched from EVGA X99 Micro2 + i7-5820K to EVGA X99 Classified + i7-6850K and very happy I did. From the middle of last year till this week added and changed a couple of things as I could depending on cash flow....you know the old story up down up down. All I can say is save your pennies and your dreams will come true!

Davva2004, love your ship's name !!! My son-in-law and I play and talked Friday night, but it has been a crazy couple of days and Super Bowl Weekend with the game this afternoon. I live just outside Boston and root for all the local teams: New England Patriots , Boston Red Sox , New England Revolution , Boston Celtics & Boston Bruins .

This week I'm tearing down my rig to make a couple of changes and do maintenance. Next weekend going to my daughter & son-in-laws in upper state NY, for his B-Day and mine. He's gonna be 40 & I'm turning 53. I'm going to do some work on his rig next weekend to check his over-clocks and do some more tweaking if needed. Lets try to hookup the week after next and play some Elite: Dangerous.

Do you play ARMA 3, DCS, Doom or Squad???

Willie, that might be the most powerful rig I've seen on a P5 yet! Great stuff! Nice to see Singularity Computers hardware in there too, that seems to be rare. Not everyone wants to shell out the coin for the good stuff like that.

Thanks Man, that makes me feel all warm an fuzzy....Nerds Rule!!! Daniel Cannon at Singularity Computers is such an inspiration and he wants to share what he does with so much passion. I wish there were a lot more in the world like him, I'm trying to get there doing the same.

The same reason I have been following TinyTomLogan on You Tube. He's great and that's why I joined the OC3D community. I am planning on visiting in April for my nephews wedding and would love to have a pint or two with any Nerds who might want to meetup and BS for a couple of hours to share some stories and just have a good time! Just putting this out there and maybe could meet Tom and as many others as possible. I am hand delivering their wedding present which is on my test bench right now and will be starting this week. Wedding is on April 15, 2017 in Sherborne, UK.

I am determined to move in the same direction. I'm trying to get custom PC business off the ground with my best friend and my son-in-law. Taking small steps and trying to get all our ducks in a row. I plan to learn as much as I can from this community and share as much as possible.
