Well this is interesting, the eagerly awaited Witcher 3 is looking to seriously push the boundaries with it's high end graphics, Gametechs is stating that with AA (8x) enabled in the game at high quality, using a 780Ti the game is running at 35-40fps, at 1920x1080!

Its also said that the Xbox One version will run at 900p/30fps and the PS4 at 720p/30fps, its also said that the console versions of the game will meet the minimum graphics settings of a PC, and that the console versions will look similar to The Witcher 2.

Well, that's what the Witcher does. It makes people spend a lot of money for barely acceptable framerates. It has always been ahead of time by about 2 years in graphics requirements.

Ohh I didn't know that, I've not followed the rest of the series. I guess it's not new news then haha. :)

other way :P

New cards will (should be/hopefully) be out before TW3 so hopefully they have a bit more grunt to run it :)
Can't wait till TW3 is out though, it's the only game I am looking forward to within now and the release date. Nice to know it is pushing the graphics and PC hardware.

I just thought they were lazy and couldn't optimize a game to save their lives? Anyone can design a game which breaks computers. I'm a novice programmer and I could crash any PC you throw at me. Poor memory management (Crisis was the worst) combined which a few other mumbo jumbo and you got an unplayable game. never played Witcher I have it but never played is so maybe I should play it first ;)

They make pretty darn pretty games, the hardware use is justified.
