i personally would absolutely love to see a review of those cool looking cubitek modular cases. they've been out a while now but there's nothing like a ttl hands-on review :-).

especially cable routing and thermal aspects would be interesting.

How about Lancool K9

Lancool-PC-K9-Series.jpg

And/or even better; a case that looks like it may be a part of my next build

Anidées AI6

Both of them seem like pretty modern cases with stuff like removable hard drive cages and 8 exp. slots. I would love to watch Tom sit and have a chat to himself about one or both of these cases.

Hey guys, can this twin tower with 8x6mm heatpipes beat the Noctua D14 King? Time to find out...

Alpenföhn K2

and by the way, can review the Himalaya too that i am particulary interested in getting one, thanks in advance.

Alpenföhn Himalaya

Actually. Looking at that Himalaya in the above post, how about a tower-heatsinks-that-clear-your-tall-ass-RAM test. With the Himalaya, an Archon, maybe a 212 and I don't know how well a TRUE clears the DIMMs on most mobos.

would that make sense? I have a friend who has to use his MUGEN 3 as passive because of the tall heatsinks on his Vengeance, and those seem like pretty popular sticks, so he can't be the only one who ever ran into that issue. So I think a "What is the best skinny heatsink" test would be really cute.

Anidées AI6 - Seconded, not because I'm thinking of buying it it's on it's way just wanna see a new guy get a bit of the lime light:P

This one would take some time but it's topical... Windows7 vs Windows8 Customer Preview. I don't mean a a lengthy discussion on the various merits of Metro and funky new features but benchmarks on identical kit to see if there is any difference to the speed things run. Like, dislike Metro aside, will we want to run Windows 8 after it's released because our computers run more quickly or give it a miss? I know you guys are more interested in hardware but you may be missing a trick by not comparing the two OS's. We need to know and would much prefer to hear it from people we trust...

As above I'd love to see an Anidees review actually, looks like it could be pretty cool.

I'd like to see some more fan reviews as well. Maybe a comparison of fans on Rads - something like you take a rad, and change the fans around to see which are best for noise/performance. So maybe some Apaches, some GTs, some NF-F12s, some of the Alpenfohns, some Spectres, you know, whatever you can come up with

I'm not sure it would be worth doing a comparison of W7 against W8 Consumer Preview for benchmarks. Mostly because from my experinece with it so far, W8 still hasn't reached optimisation stage for a lot of the hardware. Some drivers aren't working for example (Xonar amongst reported issues with AMD and nVidia). I agree however that this will be worthwhile once the full version of W8 has come out.

Just saw a written review on vortex of the Alpenföhn K2, seemed to beat everything but the liquid coolers. Would really like to see a full ttl review of it.

Review for the Cubitek Mini Tank, Mini ITX case. As I am curiously thinking of making some kind of gaming rig with it. Thanks =)

I know that from watching Toms videos hes not a big fan of Antec, but the P280 has had some very decent reviews elsewhere and is a rival to the likes of the r3 and the new 550D from Corsair, and while im a fan of both of these I personally would like to see this case reviewed by Tom as to my mind he is the most comprehensive reviewer I have found online.

Hello,

I would like to see a review of the GTX680 & HD7970 running on an everyday motherboard that typical users would have, not a Sandybridge Extreme X79 board. My recommendation would be the MSI p67a-gd65 (B3) board, solely because thats the board I own. The new cards are both rated PCI Express 3.0, but are supposed to be backwards compatible with PCI Express 2.0, no one and I mean no one has reviewed this yet, to see what sort of a performance hit there is with using PCI Express lanes at half the bandwidth of PCI Express 3.0.

I'm expecting this will not make much difference on single card setup's but may hinder the FPS/Performance in a SLI setup.

Regards

Luke

I may be wrong, but I think Tom already did a pci3 vs pci2 comparison when the 7970 came out and found very little difference...

I'm waiting for the 550d review to go live!

Has there been anything on the AMD 7870 yet, they are on sale but I have not seen much. The old 6870 was a sweet spot in Crossfire, I'm hoping the same from the 7870.

Hey guys

In one of the recent subscriber videos, Tom mentioned that a lot of people had been requesting more water cooling content. How about some reviews of rads for example? Hardware Labs for example has two rads they brand as "silent" and the other rad makers have rads optimized for silence too. I'd love to hear Tom bash that skinny Black Ice rad.

Or even better, some of these silent rads vs D14 vs some of the premade Corsair loops.

I realize there's plenty of sites with benching of stuff like this, but Tom is great for common sense instead of raw numbers.
