Both Thermalright ram coolers and an OCZ Summit SSD have been reviewed recently. Expect to another SSD review very soon.

thats actually a good idea, how about a fan roundup? I can't think of anyone who actually enjoys having a noisy computer but theres gotta be a balance between noise and airflow!

I would like a review of the new Primochill Typhoon iii dual bay reservoir which has shown up on watercoolinguk as Im considering it for running a dual loop setup from a single reservoir. =]

The problem with reviewing fans is getting the correct equipment.

Yep, and fans unfortunately are one of those things where the costs involved to test 'properly' are quite high, yet the returns from testing them are quite low :(

Maybe if you could just borrow or rent the appropriate equipment and do an ultimate fan mega test. That could work well and attract readers by showing a direct comparison.

There are now a number of media converter utils on the market that take advantage of both Cuda and Stream.

It would be a great project to have a top nVidia & AMD card, and play with Badaboom, Cyberlink Mediashow, FormatFactory, and Nero? I hear. Perhaps any others.

Do a comparison of a set video (a free downloadable one of course) and perhaps have the software people provide a sample of their software for the review.

Perhaps the software people would be happier as a participant if they were informed the process could be used as a global benching process for future hardware reviews.

Maybe a card manufacturer will provide the subject with a card from each camp to use. AMD & Intel cpus / i7 / 775...

It'd be a great adventure for some1 (love to do it myself, not sure about having the time tbh).

Being these days almost every1 has either an iPhone (or alt), htpc, PSP, etc or just for netbook/laptop viewing, media conversion becomes more and more popular.

I'd like to see a Rampage II Extreme. It's been previewed, never reviewed.

EVGA mobos?

275SLI vs OC 295? or OC275SLI vs 285SLI.

Any Gainward card.

Some form of "High-End/Mid-Range Top 3" table (examples from mid as otherwise it's EVGA Classified and PCP&C) :

Yes we all know that the HX1000 is a great PSU, but the review was from a couple of years ago. Is it still the premium 1k psu? How is the Coolermaster M 1K holding up after all this time. The HX850 is the best recent PSU, but is it good enough to be the highest recommendation of OC3D?

What about X58 mobos? The P6 gets the best reviews but nearly every review site uses a UD5. Is that because Gigabyte are easier to get stuff from, or because it's actually better?

Or a big three cooler shootout. Same mobo, same CPU, same day, same overclock, same fans. What's better the Noctua, TRUE or Megahalem?

If you only game would a 720BE be as good as a stock i7?

I'll stop :)

http://preyproject.com/

Free open source software for tracking stolen laptops. Records location of the thief, sends photos with integrated webcam, stuff like that - would be good to have a simulated theft
