so all i have to do is set it 4x and then raise in 5mhz increments so basically thts all i have to do!

Do that for starters, and when you find that your computer is unstable, give us a shout again, and we'll take it from there.

if its unstable do i rest cmos?

If its unstable and you are still able to get into the bios, undo the changes you made that caused it to be unstable.

Only if the machine fails to display anything on the screen should you really need to do a cmos reset.

ok kool im bout to do it now

do i have to worry bout the temp?

Yeah check your Temps with speedfan or whatever Abit supply with the motherboard Aguru or whatever. Keep them below 55*C load (use Prime 95 torture test (in place FFT's: lots of heat) and as long as you're below 55*C you should be ok :)

i went to increase the FSB by 5mhz like u said but i said between min=200 max 300 wat the hell do i do????

You highlight the FSB field. The press return. The it will come up with a list of options (from 100 upwards usually). You just increase this to 205 and then press return.

Then save and exit the BIOS, boot into windows and run stability tests and then go again :)

prime 95, occt, s&m. find them all in our downlaod section here http://www.sysxtreme.com/showthread.php?t=1378

if you arent increasing voltage you do not need to worry about temps.

i wd say that you can get t at least 215 without nededing to stability test but follow the rules anyway.

also another way to increase FSB on most boards, is highlight it and press the + or - keys on the NUMBER PAD with numlock on. not the ones at the top of ur keuboard, the ones on the right.

how will i know when ive maxed my oc

When you cant increase your FSB any more without your machine failing to go into windows or crashing once it gets into windows.

k i got to 220 then did 225 then it wouldnt let me boot into windows

Well 220 is a nice start.

Somewhere in that uguru section, there should be something called 'CPU Core Voltage', increase that from the default up one notch (its normally something like a 0.250v increase), stick the fsb back to 225, and see if that helps you get into windows.
