Hello all, my name is josh, I am 23 and live in the states. Been into computers for the better part of my life. I currently don't own something that i would classify as a rig. Hopefully once I finalize a spec out for what will replace my overly used and abused laptop i will be able to get back to some hardcore gaming. But i will deff. be asking advice and tins of questions as I go about putting something together

Sebar I was wondering if anyone was going to comment on that. I appreciate the welcome everyone. Now its time to make up my mind on what will become my gaming rig. Just not sure which way to go. 2011 rig that I wont have to upgrade for awhile or a 1155 2600k rig. I do know I will more than likely be running a GTX580. It will be air cooled for now. Everyone feel free to chime in and stop me from potentially making a bad choice.

Well I was in the AF but no I have moved alot over the last 13 years. Mostely due to my folks moving about for work.

JP8 is a military jet fuel. Thought maybe your handle (JP88) had something to do with it. I was also in the AF.

Thats why I thought you were asking just wasnt to sure. Awfull smelling stuff that JP8, I had alot of friends in POL and those guys would come back to the dorms/barracks and just stink the place up. I was in sheetmetal 2a7x3. what was your afsc.
