This is where it happens at command central, aka THE PIT

The Rig:

Exos2, Antec P160 Case, Akasa Fan Controller, R507 Mach2 and of course 1 of 2 trusty desk fans used to provide extra air flow for benchies.

Behind top bezel sits an ASUS 16x DVD DL DVD writer

I am using an akasa 4-way fan controller, which dont sit too clever, but it's a great unit, well that is to say I like it!!

The front panel of the P160 - I removed the grill protecting the filter as I found it was restrictive to the airflow (especially with those wires inside!!).

Underneath is the Mach2 with silver lian li case -I am still thinking about fitting an extra 120mm fan in there for extra cooling.

The guts of the beast......

She might not look like much but she'll do point 5 past light speed.

120mm fan cooling PC5000 TCCD at the moment, also got me some old skool BH5.

120mm fan cooling the heatsinks on 7800GTx's which are watercooled using innvatek blocks (modded from 6800 units).

2x60mm fans, one on the mosfets one on the 4v dimm contoller.

80mm fan pushing extra air through the PCP&P 850w daddy.

Spaghetti Junction!!

10mm ID pipes, power cables everywhere, it's one ugly mutha!!

Check out the cut-away on the base of the case, cut two slots and fold over, then apply insulation tape to anything sharp!!!

The Drives:

74GB Raptor

2x200GB SATA drives underneath - there were plans for a raid array, but I had no idea how so didnt bother!!

Underneath that - and it's important - I am using an AQZ050 pump to provide extra umph for the EXOS 2.

That Exos and P160 are beautiful! :)

I might post pics of my room...puts you all to shame. I might take the pics now, when its considered "tidy" :)

Monkeyville I don't think Mav has way too much cash, he just works hard, saves up and spends it on what he enjoys most.

Anyway nice rig, wouldn't say pretty but your numbers make up for that ;)

Thanks for having mu picture up on your screen :D

Yup, i know, was just making a joke which failed. :o

yeah does someone want to donate me some parts? eg 2 x 7800 SLi cards, an nForce 4 board, and some sort of water cooling to go with the gfx cards? Should have some piccies up of my new case next week, still not ordered the poly carbonate for it :( but hope to have it done soon, + i hope to win some prizes at the CPL BYOC in september :D

Anyway yeah you have a nice setup... if only it was tidy :P not much point in case fans when theres no way for the air to flow :P

LOL - believe it or not the air flow is quite good and the wires do not obstruct the air-way too much.

With the side panel off and the house fan blowing in - the airflow is even better LOL
