text search program

im tired of windows inability to find certain words in txt files when doing a search on multiple files.

any ideas for a program that actually can search for a certain words in multiple txt files ?

found the problem, those stupid ***************************************************************************************** over at microsoft has limited the search function to a few filetypes only but found a program called quicksearcher that can do what i need so now im happy again
