Test Drive Unlimited

I think the ford is raw power (500bhp), but the aston (450bhp) is just sheer style and handles a lot better :). I might get the ford tho as it is Group B the Aston is group C/D I think. Wonder if you can tune up the aston.

I could just have style and power and get a Vanquish S tho lol :)

edit: I bought the Aston as there are loads of group D races, looks amazing in metallic blue.

Nice pay for that job, equk! :)

My best is 145000..

Anywhoo, Bikes suck... I can't control the bloody things.. :(

To think I went on a 70mile trip to find all the car show rooms..

EDIT: Just found you can put your own music on the radio.

"My Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\PROFILE_NAME\Radio\folder"

Make a "Radio" file in you save game folder like above. Then make a Folder within that fold and put music into that... Im testing now so it may not work... ;)

Woah, look at there cars! :)

The game will message you when you have found them all.

Turned out I hadn't been to the jaguar garage lol :)

The bikes are mental, hard to control until you setup the lean forward/back, then it's a bit easier but still hard. Bikes would be good for a low level drag race with straight road. Prob why they are locked until you visit all the garages.

Where the monkeys are you?

Looks like your on some kinda beach.. :)

I was on the western beach :)

my ingame name is equk_co_uk not sure how the friends thing works tho  you seem to need to click on someone on the map and push the f button or sommit :( can tell this is a xbox360 port tbh.

Be nice if you could just type in the people who you know into the friends list.

I just realised its for the PS2 as well...

My missus finsihed NFS:carbon in 2 weeks and she only likes racing games. So I'm tempted to get it HERE for her (not for my benefit at all ;) )

How can you tell what server it connects to? :(

Doesn't say how many servers there are etc, but I would've thought the US install would be the same as the UK/EU one as the multiplayer stuff is done via gamespy so I'd guess the regional thing would go by your gamespy account rather than the game.

What are the graphics like on PS2? :)

The graphics on the PS2 don't look that good in comparison to the pc version, altho it doesn't look bad.

The slim PS2 have an ethernet port in it as standard. I sold mine :(

My gf has a big silver ps2 with no ethernet, but I'm not too fussed about racing online tbh.

Cheers for that link Eq - I may as well buy it :D

Cars look excellent, online play has got to be stimulating.

But I do think they`ve made the backgrounds to look good enough for when u`r wizzing around. Screenies don`t do it much justice - imo. But still the cars look great in them.

360 version has to be impressive.

Nah, firstly my CD key keeps haveing a spazz at me.. :(

Im guessing it "trys" to connect to the US one.. becasue every time it does it, it times out.

Im gunna sell the game on eBay and buy a good old Uk version...

Ahhhh my eyes are bleeding... why does the PS2 look so bad?

emm ps2 graphics are with out AA and with out light effects like reflections

but anyway for a console that old they are good
