Taming the ratsnest

I just had a good look round the back of my pc and OMG. It just seems to keep on growing and I keep meaning to sort it out but where to start?

I've tried to keep the vga cables away from the power, and the phone line separate, at least that was the idea, but you know how it is. You're either pulling on the wire to get it to go that last 10cm, or you've got this great writhing coil going nowhere.

Has anyone any bright ideas? And before you ask, yes I do have wireless, and that's another 2 ethernet cables + psu and power lead.

At least I've finally managed to stop the cat from sleeping back there.

Yes that's probably the answer. Perhaps I could get some nice colour coded ones..

Hang on, just need to install this new Skpe box. Two more telephone wires and a USB cable. Sigh.

get a peice of plastic, ribbed tubing, the flexi stuff, and cut a slit all the way along it, then just stuff all your cables into it = one fat cable. Alternatively, go to ikea and buy one lol
