Ye no offence to your taste nepas, but I'm not quite sure what possessed Lotus to do that.

Feel free to pick on me for my love of the Aston Martin powered Tickford Capri...

ah now thats something i have not seen for a while,I used to love Capri's when i was a kid,and the Tickford was the daddy.I think the reason why I love the Lotus Carlton so much is that i am a Vauxhall nut, and I had a chance to drive a Lotus Carlton-which was simply amazing,the way a car that weighed nearly 2 tonnes could pick up speed

Yeah I suppose its all about experiences really. I remember getting a ride in one of these as a kid. If I could have had found any posters of it, I would have filled all the walls in my room

rotting quicker than usual being a ford. I do like them though.

I know other cars I would rather spend over 8k on.

Fair enough it has a Cosworth engine but thats about all it has going for it.

Plus that engine is very outdated nowadays and will be outperformed by alot of more modern engines.
