Unless you want multi-monitor I would get the 560ti/570 over the 6950.
Yeh, I think all EVGA cards are reference but some of their coolers are non reference.
kinda not following you on this comment lol I know theres non ref pbc and ref pcb but doent that follow onto the cooler as well to a degree?? And evga does have non ref items as well for instance my 570HD is in part based on the reference for the 560Ti smaller pcb and central design fan.
to clarify most cards that have non ref coolers ( not talking about more fan models and dcu ones) are on non ref pcb's
Any thoughts on those last two cards I posted guys?
also I just (tried, for some reason it crashed) played metro 2033 and changed to my new resolution as I haven't played it since I got my new monitor and at 1920x1080 I have to play at normal!! to be able to get playable framerates![]()

will my i3 540 bottleneck the 6950? if not what about cf?
As far as I know only EVGA let you change the cooler.
Yer but as general rule evga cards are underwhelming and tend to be very similar to reference oh they have good warranty but thats about it. Also there build quality not exactly amazing to my experience.
I mentioned about them being reference later in the thread but he wanted a card that he could remove the cooler to put a water block on (another reason to go for EVGA and them being reference) and still have warranty.
