Suggestions on 2.1 Speakers.

Well i am in the market for 2.1 speakers. I want something that will sound good but isn't insanely expensive. Im going to use them for gaming and listening to music while on my computer or in my room. I have been looking at a few.

I say those Altec Lansings I have. The Logitech's seem overly expensive and my AL's have some awesome sound to them with great bass. The other 'cuter' AL's seem to be priced higher solely for their looks.

I do like your speakers but i still wanna shop around to see feedback on other speakers before i make my decision.

+1 vote for X-230. I have a pair of X-220's that are 3 years old and still going (Sister uses them.) Trust me, they've been USED.

Actually Ty, yours sound like complete

and I don't know why. Playing CS:S things just didn't sounds 'right'.

Ares' on the other hand are some high quality speakers. They play great sound and can be jacked pretty damn high. The subwoofer puts out some bass and the sounds is crisp. I love my Altec Lansings.

My friends Altec's overbass CS:S sounds so bad it kills me. Mine are fine though. None of the ones you looked @ compare to mine though, that may be why.

When i first got them i thought they had a little over bass but once getting used to them i love them. Also, im right on the sub. And Im sorry my speakers dont compare to your oooooo so awesome out of my league speakers:worship:
