Morning all,

My PC is getting stuck on the Gigabyte post screen now almost everytime I turn my rig on. If I restart it posts as normal but its getting on my nerves and something can't be right.

Anybody know what its all about?

Cheers.

Perhaps it is having problems initiating something, but as far as I know it doesnt really have anything like that...

Have ya tried using a different bios or clearing it? as that could possibly solve it. What number is shown?

You could also try going to minimum specs boot up. Clearing CMOS, removing any expansion cards and booting up with a single RAM stick

Your board have a post readout? What number does it say?

If its getting stuck on post it means something is failing its test, i would go to the ram first. Make sure its seated all the way(everything else too) and if that don't help swap out the ram and go through that process of finding a bad stick(s).

This happened to me when my mem stick gave in. As soon as I removed the faulty stick the pc post was successful.

OK it did it again so the code thats up is 9C = Detect and install all currently connected USB devices.

By USB I have: Corsair M65 mouse, DuckyShine 3, 128GB Corsair pen drive, USB external Samsung DVD/RW and wireless dongle for 360 controller.

DVD Drive?

Just gonna have to remove one by one or move one from its current port to a different one. Either one of your ports is faulty or one of em has gone bad it sounds like.
