Steam App Update, Faster and Less Power Hungry

Steam's Android app has just received an Update, giving the app a new material design, faster loading times and a smaller hit on your device's battery life.

Is there even a point in using the app? It's not like you can play games. Just talk to friends mainly but I would rather send a text then use an app for that
