Pretty much as the title says, got my 680 stable at 1228/3402, handles everything i throw at it with ease but i have an urge and i dont know why :p

overkill to the infinity power...
dunna know if you really got what the review was about (you prolly did, but what?)?
Tom kind 'splained it in a shell.. a 7970 is for sane peeps. the Matrix is for epeen
contests... and not a great showing at that.

dunna know if you are trying to get a rise outta folks.. but...
my vote, stay on 680.

Your 680 will max out FPS on your monitor on any game anyway.
Seriously don't need to change graphics whatsoever.

If you've got money to spend - why not get better screen(s)?

I dont see why anyone would go from green to red unless you have a cash flow problem and have an older green gpu that just dont cut it anymore.

I've been pc gaming since 95' trust me, stick with ya green one mate.

If you buy a 7970 Matrix Ill happily ban you.

Hehe, Made me smile, I love playing the Batman Arkham game's with Physx on too much to move to the 7970 Matrix :)
Plus a shop near me just got one in and the owner was dissapointed, I pointed him towards a refund and a normal 7970 or a 680 ^^

GTX 680 is realy good card, 680 is the king of graphics performance, but i see i issue in nVidia, colors not so good compered to radeon, maybe because nVidia go to performance i dont know. But radeon seems to be more precise with colors, they looks more alive.
And im kind sad...im using nVidia....
My tip will be if you wont grafhics monster, than stay with 680, and if you are more quality man like me, go for 7970.
I will be happy if it helps you make right decision.

I've used both a 7950 and a 670 on the same screens and i can honestly say i haven't noticed any colour differences between the two.
They both have enough settings to adjust the colour anyway...

The funny thing is the 7970 is faster than the 680 and is cheaper, and the 670 isn't far off the 680, so the 680 is kind of irrelevant in the GPU world. It's in a little +£360 hole where it's beaten by the cheaper 7970.

And yes, i switched from a 6850 to a GTX670 and the colours were different, but honestly it's such a tiny difference. I couldn't say which one was better, both were perfectly fine, and if you were unhappy you could just adjust the colours yourself in the Nvidia Control Panel or AMD CCC fairly easily
